Welcome to Swahili Design Lab’s Online Learning Platform (“Platform”).
By accessing or using this Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

 

  1. Definitions
  • “We”, “Our”, “Us” – refers to Swahili Design Lab.
  • “You”, “Your”, “Learner” – refers to any individual accessing or using the Platform.
  • “Courses” – refers to all online training materials, programs, and content provided via the Platform.
  1. Eligibility
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent if younger, to register for a course.
  • By enrolling, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and truthful.
  1. Use of the Platform
  • You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others.
  • You may not:
    • Share your login credentials with others.
    • Copy, reproduce, or distribute course materials without written permission.
    • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the operation of the Platform.
  1. Account Registration
  • To access certain features, you must create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities under your account.
  1. Course Access and Completion
  • Upon enrollment and payment (if applicable), you will receive access to the course for the specified duration stated on the course page.
  • Some courses may have deadlines for completion, after which access will expire.
  • Certificates are issued only upon fulfilling all course requirements.
  1. Payments and Refunds
  • All fees are stated in Kenyan Shillings (KES) or as otherwise indicated.
  • Payments must be made in full before course access is granted (unless otherwise agreed).
  • Refund requests must be made within 21 Days of purchase and will only be processed if no more than 20% of the course has been completed.
  • Refunds, when approved, will be processed through the original payment method.
  1. Intellectual Property
  • All course materials, videos, images, and other content are the property of Swahili Design Lab or its content partners.
  • You may not reuse or distribute any content without prior written consent.
  1. Code of Conduct

By using this Platform, you agree to:

  • Treat instructors and fellow learners with respect.
  • Avoid offensive, discriminatory, or harmful language.
  • Not post or share inappropriate or unrelated content.
  1. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you:

  • Breach these Terms and Conditions.
  • Misuse the Platform.
  • Engage in conduct that harms other users or our reputation.
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date content, we make no guarantees about the completeness, reliability, or suitability of the materials.
  • We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your use of the Platform.

  • We collect and use your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
